Recruitment to the post of Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union

Yantrik Telecommunication Details:

Eligibility  : Diploma(Electrical, ECE, Mech).

Location    : Visakhapatnam, Gandhinagar, Kochi, Mumbai, Paradip, Chennai, Noida, Kolkata.

Last Date   : 23 Jul 2015

Hiring Process : Written-test, Physical Fitness Test, interview

Qualification : Three years Diploma in Mechanical /Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering /Electrical  or equivalent branch recognized / Approved by AICTE with 60% in aggregate. (5 % relaxation in above minimum cut off will be given for outstanding sports person of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service).

Age : Age between 01 Feb1994 to 31 Jan 1998 i.e Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years. And age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Selection Procedure : Short-listing criteria for applications will be based on higher percentage of marks in the diploma for a particular examination centre. SC and ST candidates will be given due weightage while short listing. The written tests will be objective type. Those who qualify the written tests will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT),interview and initial Medical Examination.

How to apply : Applications will be accepted 'Online only' from 16 Jul to 23 Jul 2015 till 17:00 Hrs. Candidates to logon www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in for apply.

Important Dates:

The test is planned in the month : Jul /Aug 2015.

Download Admit card : 31st  July to 10th August 2015.

All India select list of candidates will be displayed : Jan 2016.
